7:32 pm	Another Deathrock Magazine? Ok so some of you have asked me what is my stance on that other “Deathrock Magazine” Well I do run festivals so I say the more press the better. I mean how many goth magazines there are in Germany? A lot. Should you submit to it and or advertise there considering my earlier post Hell go ahead nock your self out. Me in particular and we at the drop dead magazine in general wish them much success. It was necessary to make clear that we are completely independent of each other considering. 5:32 am	I need a reason to leave my house and hell, good music will do it every time NY Decay Nights are back We had a really great time during Halloween. The only thing is that was on Halloween and now we have no party to go to. So we want a re-union. We are starting up a weekly 18+ night and will do a once a month night on weekends as well. This will be the Return of NY Decay nights to the Pyramid Club The Weekday nights will be in Pyramid Club on Wednesdays (first night December 6th). We plan to start of with just DJ’s and no bands so this will be a night to go out to dance and discover new bands. DJ’s will be yours truly and Lakini Malich with new guest every week. What will we spin? From EN to Devo to Norma Loy and Corpus Delecti to Poison Gils Toy Dolls, Rudimentary Peni, Nina Hagen, Lena Lovich, Daf, Cult of the Psychic Fetus and Blitzkid, Batmobile, ASF, Balck Ice, Fad Gaget, Mona Mur, Deadfly Ensemble, Tones on Tail, X-Mal, DI, TSOL, X-Ray Spex, Bad Seeds Swans, and yes even BAUHAUS. Also each week we will do special giveaways and games (wouldn’t you like to know) Each week we will also devote the 1st hour to a listening party. In tradition of the Drop Dead this festival will be the biggest gathering of Deathrock bands, DJ’s and fans.. We are decorating Justin's house up right now, the poor chap has had a huge stockpile of drop dead props in his house but now he will have it all on the walls. Nice and proper. 6:42 am	WIth Friends like these/ What are you doing for Halloween? Today I hung out at the Din Glorious Practice again. Their set at the Halloween party this Tuesday at the Pyramid Club show will be so much fun. They are doing a few covers and not to give to much away but we had the best time today with every one jumping up for this one cover and dancing around and singing. They also have really fucking great costumes all figured out which leaves me in small fits of frustrated envy mixed with admiration since I still have no idea about my costume. I know I don’t want to be a specific thing, but I want to do a ton of modification. I want to look very alien and extreme. I mean more so then usual. What is every one doing for Halloween? Share your costumes with me guys, if you have photos that's even better. Speaking of those DG guys....This year one of the big reasons Drop Dead was so much less stressful for me was because these guys really did the whole 'we are the art community' thing and we will do it together. We all flyered for weeks and Johnny moved in with Dan and we were on the streets every day and night. We were joined by our favorite Great Dane, Rasmus, who actually came to USA on the 17th and also moved in at Jersey City. The rest of DG guys and Greg and Rhonda joined us at random times, and it was really for the first time a true feeling of community. And between working and not sleeping for a few weeks we managed to fit in a great deal of tomfoolery. Hey Rasmus, where are those photos? Anyway I have so much fun with these guys and I am so grateful that I have been lucky enough to have really great friends and co-operate with so many great artists. Many of you live way to far for me to hang with too often and we see each other only once a year or so but I wanted to let you know that I love you guys and I really value our friendship and connection. Also welcome to the new member of our family Amina, who will be part of one of Justin's bands or more. Really cool girl. And I have to add again one person I miss every day and I wish would say hello is Mander. But friends like these , I think I can speak to her in 3 years and it would really still be like we left off an hour ago. If you reading this I really miss you and love you very much.
